Steph and Joseph Wedding, Wisehaven Event Center, York, PA

We first met with Steph and her Mom about a year before the Wedding, as Joseph was living out of the area for work. We didn’t meet him until their Engagement session earlier this summer at Chickie’s Rock Breezyview Overlook Gazebo We also enjoyed meeting and photographing their beautiful Husky pup!

We had a lovely, but HOT day for their Wedding back in August. Their ceremony was held at the Grace Baptist Church in Lancaster and officiated by the Bride’s own Grandfather. They incorporated both traditional American aspects as well as the Groom’s Indian heritage into their unique ceremony. After some photos at the Church, we traveled to Sam Lewis State Park for some outdoor photos on our way to their Reception venue, Wisehaven Event Center in York, PA.

After the outdoor photos, but before being announced at the Reception, the Bride and her Bridesmaids changed out of their traditional American Wedding attire and into stunning Indian dresses. The Groom also placed a toe ring on the Bride right after their grand entrance, which we learned is another Indian Wedding custom.

The Reception tables were adorned with beautiful Indian fabric and each guest was given a gold box, imported from India as their favor. Ours is currently on Jen’s desk and is a really nice paperclip holder.

We wish them all the best with their recent move out of the area for Joseph’s job to their new home together. Congratulations again, Mr & Mrs Suresh!

Here are a few of our favorite photos from their Wedding Day.

Would you guess that we used the guest’s favor box from India as the background in this photo of the newlyweds’ rings? The bokeh effect was perfect!
