Portraits That Celebrate This Milestone and Reflect Who Your Senior Is Today
Some parents want one great keepsake portrait for the wall. Others have a senior who’s excited to showcase sports, hobbies, and the activities that matter most to them. There’s no right or wrong approach.
We’ll work together to create a session you’ll both be excited about.
Every Great Portrait Starts with a Conversation
Before we ever pick up the camera, we meet with you and your senior for a complimentary planning consultation.
We’ll get to know their personality, interests, style, and vision for the session while answering any questions you may have along the way. Together, we’ll plan locations, outfit changes, and meaningful details that help tell your senior’s story.
Sometimes it’s the little things that make all the difference. We even ask about your senior’s favorite music so we can have it playing during the session. It’s a simple touch that helps create a relaxed atmosphere and genuine smiles.
By the time portrait day arrives, everyone knows what to expect, allowing us to focus on creating images your family will enjoy for years to come.
Built Around Your Senior
No two seniors are alike, and their portrait session shouldn’t be either.
We’ll work with you to create a session that reflects who your senior is today by incorporating the sports, activities, hobbies, and interests that have shaped this important chapter of their life. Whether you’re envisioning portraits in our studio, outdoors, or a combination of both, we’ll help plan a session that’s personal, meaningful, and enjoyable from beginning to end.
Not every senior is excited to be in front of the camera, and that’s perfectly okay. Our goal is to create a relaxed environment where they can simply be themselves. We’ll guide them naturally throughout the session, helping them feel comfortable and confident every step of the way.
Parents often tell us they were surprised by how much fun their senior had during the session.
Popular ideas include:
- Athletic uniforms and equipment
- Musical instruments
- Performing arts and dance
- Cars, trucks, or motorsports

- Hobbies such as reading, art, or gaming
If it’s meaningful to your senior, we’d love to incorporate it into the session.

Frequently Asked Questions
When should we schedule Senior Portraits?
We recommend scheduling your Senior Portrait session several months before graduation. Because fall and spring are also our busiest sports photography seasons, booking early gives you the greatest flexibility when choosing your session date and plenty of time to enjoy your portraits before graduation.
Where do Senior Portrait sessions take place?
Some families are looking for a simple, classic studio session. Others envision portraits on the field, stage, court, or another location that’s meaningful to their senior.
During your complimentary planning consultation, we’ll discuss your ideas and help determine the location, or combination of locations, that’s the best fit for your senior and your vision.
Can my senior include sports, hobbies, or personal interests?
Absolutely. Whether it’s an athletic uniform, musical instrument, favorite outdoor location, vehicle, or your dog, we’ll work with you to create a session that reflects who your senior is and what matters most to them.
My senior hates having their picture taken. Can you help?
Absolutely. Not every senior is excited to be in front of the camera, and that’s perfectly okay. We’ll guide them naturally throughout the session and keep things relaxed. Parents often tell us they were surprised by how much fun their senior had once the session got underway.
How many outfit changes are included?
Multiple outfit changes are included, giving your senior the opportunity to create a variety of looks throughout the session.
What’s included with a Senior Portrait session?
Every Senior Portrait session includes professionally retouched, high-resolution digital images with personal print and use rights, making it easy to share your photos with family and friends.
Many parents also choose to purchase professional prints and keepsakes, such as canvases, to display in their home and enjoy for years to come.
How long does a Senior Portrait session last?
Every session is planned around your vision, so the length varies depending on the locations, outfit changes, and ideas you’ve chosen. During your complimentary planning consultation, we’ll recommend a session length that gives us plenty of time without feeling rushed.
